The good news is, unlike fresh flowers, dried and preserved flowers do not require as much maintenance, with a little TLC, they will stay beautiful for a whole year, even 2 - 3 years. Below are some of the tips on how to keep them gorgeous and "fresh":
Handle with care as dried and preserved flowers can be very fragile and delicate, once they are arranged in your favourite vase, keep them somewhere they will not be easily knocked.
Display your dried flower arrangements in a dry indoor environment away from direct sunlight, as sunlight can cause flowers to fade. Moisture can also make certain dried flowers to "wilt", so it is best to keep them from hot or humid areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
To keep dried and preserved flowers dust-free, simply blow them lightly to get rid of the dust on the surface. You can also use a hairdryer on a low cool setting and blow them from a distance. The trick we use for a more precise dusting is to use an air blower, the ones that are used for getting rid of dust from camera lenses. Clever right?!
